Please also note information about health and vaccinations for visitors to Nigeria. Nigerian health authorities recommend vaccination against cholera and yellow fever from all visitors. Anti-malaria prophylactic is also highly recommended.
Original passport | Passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 6 months after your intended departure from Nigeria. |

Letter of Invitation from Nigeria | Invitation letter from Nigerian company / organisation is required. The letter must be on the company letterhead addressed to the Visa Section, Nigeria High Commission. The letter must state that the inviter accepts full immigration responsibilities. |
Letter from the applicant’s employer | Letter from the applicant’s employer in the United Kingdom is required. The letter must be company letterhead stating the current immigration and employment status of the applicant. The employer must confirm, they are aware of the trip to Nigeria. |
Non UK – nationals | You are required to provide your residence permit (EU passport, work permit/visa), proof of address in the UK (recent utility bill, bank statement, letter from your employer confirming your employment in the UK). |
